The appetite of investors was in evidence at the latest online auction held by All Wales Auction on the 15th September, where many lots sold for well over their guide price.
One of the most successful lots was a commercial property for sale on Ysguthan Road, Port Talbot, guided at £30,000. The property was a mixed use freehold building with commercial unit to the ground floor and residential flat above. The auction team had no internal access to the property so viewings could not take place, though they had been advised there was fire damage to the property.
In spite of this the lot raised great interest with possible purchasers and online bidding was strong, which led to the property selling for £66,500, more than double the initial guide price.
All Wales Auction is designed to offer an alternative platform for buyers and sellers who may not want to go down the traditional selling route of private treaty. Auction is a fantastic option for many sellers such as those with unusual properties, commercial units, short leaseholds, garages, land, probate, renovation projects and those who may require a quick sale.
All Wales Auction is now taking entries for the next online auction on 19th October. For more information about buying or selling at auction, contact 0800 905 905 or email southwales@allwalesauction.com
